STAKEHOLDERS

The relationship between an organization and its stakeholders is complex and nuanced. I am interested in how firms manage catering to multiple audiences, as well as how they account for the impact their functions have on these stakeholder groups and society at large.

NONMARKET STRATEGY

My research explores the antecedents, processes, patterns, and impact of nonmarket strategies. Currently, I focus on firms’ effort in the sociopolitical realm — such as corporate social responsibility, participation in activism, or other prosocial activities. 

VALUES AND IDEOLOGY

We often ascribe values-laden action to individuals, but is it possible for a firm to have ideological views and values? How are a firm’s values determined? How do these guide and shape firm decisions, and how do they affect stakeholders?
